Soak in the charm of two circa 1912 homes

Like many Kitsilano houses of this era, Home Suite Home is located on land which was once owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). The main guest house along Cypress was used by CPR executives, who worked for the now abandoned rail line located a block to the north. Today this line has been revived as a walking and cycling greenway, stretching from the Fraser River in the south to False Creek in the north. It features long tracts of blackberries and public garden plots tended by local green thumbs.
A wonderful experience and a comfortable space with room to move. Many thanks for your warm hospitality.

Home Suite Home comprises two side-by-side heritage homes, and although extensive renovations have modernized the interiors and exteriors, each structure retains most of its original character. The grounds adjacent to the property have been transformed into an artisan garden, blending crumbling limestone busts with unusual metal sculptures and exotic plants and flowers.
