Experience warm European hospitality in a fun and friendly atmosphere

Francois, who hails from Lyon, France, settled in Vancouver more than 20 years ago. A longtime art director for local film and TV, Francois has made Home Suite Home into his ongoing “design project.” He’s the one behind the eclectic sculpture, rare plants and exotic colour schemes that give Home Suite Home its quirky charm. A certified “laughter yoga” instructor, Francois spends most days in the garden, chattering in French to his two beloved dogs, Sofie and Bingo.

While Francois’ mind soars in the clouds, Czech-born Petr has feet firmly planted on earth. A professionally-trained masseuse with 12 years of spa, resort and clinical experience, Petr loves to work with his hands. With his soft-spoken perfectionism, he is the one who brings Francois’ crazy design ideas to fruition, and who handles the lion’s share of construction and maintenance at Home Suite Home.

Sofie & Bingo

When you arrive at Home Suite Home, you’ll likely be greeted by Bingo or Sofie, our two resident Tibetan terriers. If you’re allergic to dogs, not to worry, as both of our kid-friendly canines are hypoallergenic, meaning they have hair instead of fur, and shed very little, so you’re less likely to have an allergic reaction. We’ve also kept some of our suites pet-free for the benefit of those who are more sensitive to pet dander.
