It was a lovely holiday season and we enjoyed sharing in the spirit of it all with our family, guests and neighbours. Our gift to the neighbourhood was our annual lights and decorations display, which received enthusiastic reviews from all including one guest on Tripadvisor saying that they could “Probably have seen the garden festive decor of Home Suite Home from outer space”. (As we mentioned in a previous post, less is more, but more is better! See photos of the lights on our Facebook page here) Our open house on Boxing Day was a nice way to get together with everyone and have a relaxed cocktail and a chat.

Thanks to Francois’ mum and dad for visiting us from France, and thanks to all of our guests for joining us. It’s a great feeling to be able to facilitate whatever kind of experience you would prefer. From warm and fuzzy family feasts to quiet getaways and everything in between, you can have it however you like it at Home Suite Home, and we’ll do our best to ensure that.

We wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous year in 2012, and look forward to meeting you for the first time, or to your return.

We thought returning guests might want updates on Francois, Petr, Sophie, Bingo,
and Zsa Zsa and future guests might want to get to know us a bit. We also wanted
to be able to keep you updated on the goings-on at your favourite place to stay in
Vancouver so drop by frequently to check us out.

We’re not really shy about Holidays…

We are busy planning the lights and decorations again this year. We are thinking
of going just a little further than last year because as Francois always says, “less is
more but more is better!”

“A Christmas Tree Story” We even made the local evening
news!

So how to top that? Well, Petr could make the giant tree flash! In time with music!
And he could put a giant star on top! And Francois could build a huge lollipop to
plant amongst the foliage in the roundabout! With snowflakes! Because hey, why
not? It’s fun! And colourful! And bright!

As always, we look forward to hosting you at our Vacation Rentals & Guest House during the holiday season and will make every effort to have your stay be warm, merry, and bright.
